I don't believe this!!
An adviser to Malayisan Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has declared that Malaysian Muslim men can divorce their wives via SMS.
"SMS is just another form of writing," the daily quoted Hamid as saying, following an Islamic court decision Thursday that ruled in favor of a man who served divorce on his wife using SMS.

OMG!!!! I can't believe that either! That is worse than the drive through marriages/divorces I have seen in Reno!
Technology means well, always...but sometimes some cold things come out of it. Interesting how that works.

Shobha: I think I read today that the Malaysian Govt. has disallowed divorce by SMS. I guess logic and rational thought do prevail in the end! :-)
